GIVE Feature Alert: 2026-06-24

We’re excited to announce a new set of GIVE feature improvements designed to make your key workflows faster, smoother, and more effective.

Here are the highlights in this update: Enhancements

  • PlanView and CRG Integration: GIVE now introduces PlanView, a new capability that provides access to georeferenced reference materials directly within the map experience. Initial support includes integration with Critical Response Group (CRG) operational plans, allowing authorized users to view facility plans without leaving GIVE. PlanView also lays the foundation for managing and viewing reference materials such as plats, site plans, GeoTIFFs, and GeoPDFs.  Site overlays such as changing from floor 1 to floor 2 can be changed by right clicking any site image layer to change it via the context menu.
  • Local Field Filtering and Batch Editing: Local unmapped source fields are now available for filtering and Batch Editing, providing greater flexibility when managing local data.
  • Longbone Information: Long fishbones (more than 1000 ft long) often indicate data issues between SSAP and RCL layers.  Relevant data item values are now available on mouseover of long fishbone bones to help users quickly identify potential data quality issues.
  • The Map Information tool now works for user-defined service layers and reference layers.
  • The Analysis Menu is being redesigned to fall under the “Topology” menu.  As a result, the Analysis Menu will be temporarily unavailable.

Misc. Fixes / Changes

  • SSAPs can no longer be associated with RCLs with critical defects.
  • DataUpdate field is now automatically updated with the correct time.
  • QA engine no longer checks for duplicate SSAPs on legacy items.
  • The threshold for transitioning from the Domain State to the Content State is now represented in terms of the percentage over a layer’s total row count.
  • Planview layer bounding box is now properly updated.
  • Resolved various minor bugs and stability improvements.
  • Addresses cannot be associated with RCLs with defects.  Attributes of RCLs with defects cannot be copied to other RCLs.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support and trust GIVE!
