GIVE Feature Alert: 2026/04/07
April 4, 2026
We’re excited to announce a new set of GIVE feature improvements designed to make your key workflows faster, smoother, and more effective.
Here are the highlights in this update: Enhancements
- Faster Data Discovery: Benefit from enhanced search and navigation, and support for Append-load across all layers, including MSAG and ALI.
- NENA Compliance: Layer tab names are now compliant with current NENA standards. This includes using A1 through A5 in place of State through Neighborhood Community boundaries, and renaming FIRE to FIR, MED to EMS, and LAW to FIR.
- Improved Accountability: The console now reports the user and time of the most recent transaction.
- Smarter Notifications: Notification consent has expanded to cover bookmarks, reference links, announcements, and collaborative editing communications. The UI has been polished for easy sorting and filtering, and control icons now appear automatically at a reasonable threshold, eliminating the need to right-click.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved the UI error when an agency has no saved default value configuration.
- Fixed the issue where the Esri feature service layer failed to display due to a malformed feature service end-point URL in a customer’s default setting.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support and trust GIVE!
