Gistic Research will be exhibiting and presenting at the annual Arizona Geographic Information Council (AGIC) Conference on September 25-27, 2013 in Prescott, AZ. The company will conduct a hands-on workshop describing the advantages of performing many GIS tasks at the database level, with a particular focus on MS SQL Server. Gistic will also make presentations that describe the “cocktailing” of technologies that characterized the development of a new, web-based CADD-to-Oracle Loader (COLA) application for the City of Phoenix, and the potential for crowdsourcing as an approach to maintaining a multi-jurisdictional transportation network.
